Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador Program is a rewards program designed to recognize and encourage student advocates.
There are three levels starting with Student Advocate (50 points), Student Ambassador (100 points) and Sr. Student Ambassador (100+ points). You earn your way up through the levels by earning points for your advocacy activities. Points will be rewarded based on the guidelines outlined below (the Coalition will award points for activities at the discretion of the Board of Directors).
Certificates of Recognition will be presented at Coalition events such as Online Learning Day). They can also be mailed to the student upon request. The Coalition, as a non-profit organization, can provide letters of proof of service for National Honor Society, college applications, scholarships etc. Just email us at Info@OhioeSchoolCoalition.org with your request.
Attending an eSchool Coalition Event = 5 points per event (extra points can be awarded for volunteering at an event)
Indirect Advocacy = 10 points per activity
Activities that promote eSchools but aren’t advocating directly to an advocacy target (aka: legislator/policy maker/elected official etc.)
EX: Video testimonial, guest blog entry, submitting a coloring or general letter
Direct Advocacy = 15 points per activity
Activities that promote eSchools by advocating directly to an advocacy target.
EX: Legislative meetings (where YOU speak to the legislator), letters/emails sent directly to legislators, calls to policy maker, lesson demonstrations, etc.
